CaliRicans is asking Puerto Ricans and supporters throughout California to help us show the Los Angeles Dodgers that there is a community ready to celebrate Puerto Rican culture at Dodger Stadium.

Puerto Ricans are here. We love baseball. And we want to see our culture represented.
So we’re asking the Dodgers to consider hosting an official Puerto Rican Heritage Night at Dodger Stadium during the 2027 season.
Why Puerto Rican Heritage Night?
Puerto Rico and baseball have a relationship that goes generations deep.
Puerto Rican players have made an incredible impact on Major League Baseball, and the connection continues today. The Dodgers currently have Kiké Hernández and Edwin Díaz, giving Los Angeles an especially meaningful connection to Puerto Rican baseball.
A Puerto Rican Heritage Night would be an opportunity to celebrate that connection while bringing Puerto Rican fans and the broader Los Angeles community together at Dodger Stadium.
And we think it could be something really special.
What Could Puerto Rican Heritage Night Look Like?
We’re imagining a night that celebrates the many things that make Puerto Rican culture so vibrant.

Potential elements could include:
🇵🇷 Puerto Rican music and live performances
🇵🇷 Salsa, bomba and plena
🇵🇷 Puerto Rican food and local vendors
🇵🇷 Recognition of Puerto Rican baseball players
🇵🇷 Puerto Rican cultural organizations
🇵🇷 Special guests and community representatives
🇵🇷 A special Heritage Night ticket package
🇵🇷 Exclusive Puerto Rican-themed merchandise
🇵🇷 Pregame cultural programming
Ultimately, we’d love to see the Dodgers and the Puerto Rican community build something together.
We’re Asking Our Community to Speak Up
Before approaching the Dodgers with a community-wide request, we wanted to find out just how much interest there is.
So CaliRicans launched a petition asking the Dodgers to consider bringing Puerto Rican Heritage Night to Dodger Stadium.
We’re also asking supporters whether they would attend a potential Heritage Night and how many people they might bring.
That means we’re not just collecting signatures.
We’re collecting community interest.
And the response has already begun.
221+ people have signed the petition and counting.
And this is just the beginning.
Help Us Show the Dodgers We’re Here
If you’ve ever wanted to see Puerto Rican culture celebrated at Dodger Stadium, this is your opportunity to make your voice heard.
Whether you’re Puerto Rican, part of the Puerto Rican diaspora, a Dodgers fan, or simply someone who wants to see more cultural representation at the ballpark, we want to hear from you.
SIGN THE PETITION
Help us show the Dodgers that Puerto Ricans are here, we love baseball, and we’re ready to show up for our community. 🇵🇷⚾️
And after you sign, share it.
Send it to your Puerto Rican family.
Send it to your friends.
Share it with your local Puerto Rican organizations, businesses, musicians and community groups.
The more people who participate, the better picture we can give the Dodgers of the community that would love to see this happen.
This Is Bigger Than One Night
For us, this isn’t simply about putting a Puerto Rican flag inside a baseball stadium.
It’s about visibility, community and celebration.
Puerto Ricans have built families, businesses, friendships and communities throughout California. We contribute to the culture and character of the places we call home.
And when we come together to celebrate where we’re from, we should be seen.
CaliRicans was created to connect and amplify Puerto Ricans throughout California, while strengthening connections between Puerto Ricans across California, the United States and Puerto Rico.
This campaign is one more way we’re trying to do exactly that.
🇵🇷 So, Dodgers…
We’re here.
We’re ready.
And we’d love to see you celebrate with us. ⚾️💙
